Yes. The first 30 minutes are free and confidential, in person or by video. If we cannot help, we will try to point you to someone who can.
How are fees set?
Common matters have a fixed fee, listed above. Other work is billed hourly at $325, and your engagement letter includes a written estimate before anything starts.
What should I bring to the consultation?
Any papers you already have: a current will, a separation agreement, a lease, a contract or letters from the other side. A short timeline of events helps too.
Do you take cases outside Richmond?
We practice throughout Virginia and regularly appear in Henrico, Chesterfield and Hanover courts. Most estate work can be done by video.
Will my information stay confidential?
What you tell us in a consultation is confidential, even if you decide not to hire us. We never share it with anyone outside the firm.
